Now that the buyer has secured financing (if getting a mortgage) it’s safe to put the closing date on your calendar. The seller does not have to attend closing; the title company can arrange to have you pre-sign all of the paperwork.  However, if you want to attend closing and sign the documents at closing you can. Just let me know which you prefer.
